Summer is here, Dedoosers!
. |
Though many of you have recently (and, temporarily) hung up your researcher or student hat in exchange for summer fun, you can never start too early when it comes to planning your qualitative research software options for the Fall.
. |
. |
We thought we would help by laying out the specific pricing options we extend to our users. Whether you require special considerations for student, group, or organization-level pricing programs, there is a subscription for you.
. |
No matter your needs, we are willing to craft a plan that fits them (because if you are not satisfied, we are not either!).
. |
You can trust us when we say that you will enjoy every feature of Dedoose regardless of the pricing subscription you choose. To say that another way, there are no upgrades or hidden features, like there are with so many of “the other guys.”
. |
Do not forget: we will continue to offer once-weekly webinar overviews throughout the summer.
. |
During the Fall, this will resume to twice-weekly sessions. Feel free to review our EVENTS LISTING page to find a time that fits your schedule!
. |
Regardless of your pricing plan, or whether you are still running on the 30-day free trial, you can attend these sessions for no charge.
. |
Now, get ready to learn about the easy subscription process, and affordable pricing plans that will change the way you think about financing qualitative analysis tools.

Pricing Options for Individuals – Students and Solo Users
. |
This is our most popular and frequently selected pricing option! If you are only concerned about covering a Dedoose subscription for yourself, and/or are a student attending a major college or University, this is the best plan for you.
. |
As of May 2022, you can sign up for one of our monthly plans as an individual or student user for $14.95 or $10.95, respectively. If you are not already aware, our competitors are often hundreds or thousands of dollars per year for licenses by comparison! We try to make it easy for all our users, but students, to access our app for data analysis.
. |
Believe it or not, the pricing options for small and large groups (6+ users) are also comparable to this when compared at a per user rate. You can navigate to the next section to learn more about Dedoose for small teams.
. |
. |
Did you know that your first 30 days are always free, whatever Dedoose account structure you decide to choose? When you sign up with your email, we apply this credit for your first month. Log in or out as many times as you would like during this period, and get started with a project.
. |
When your trial has expired, you can opt to continue at the monthly pricing rate, or discontinue your project. Be sure to export any visuals, data, or charts you would like if you plan not to continue, though. This will prevent a need to subscribe to obtain data past the trial end date.

Subscription Plans for Groups – Small to Large Sized Options
. |
For groups composed of 2-5 users, you can expect to pay about $13 ($12.95) per month for a subscription plan.
. |
Not bad, huh?
. |
If your colleagues or remote group exceeds six users, this rate per user decreases to only $10.95 per user, per month.
. |
We understand to many newcomers that these prices can appear exceptionally low, relative to the competitor market or a license plan you might currently have from a major data analysis platform.
. |
The key to our low pricing options is simply this: we make more money by growing, and we grow through word-of-mouth from happy Dedoosers.
. |
As such, we are happy to keep our monthly prices as low as we can, if we can. Thanks to everyone who has mentioned our product to a friend or colleague– we hope you might be our next success story!
. |
. |
If you are still skeptical, you can always try us, completely free, completely 100% all-access, for 30 days (with no credit card).
. |
To make your and your team members’ lives easier, we also ensure that our system automatically handles the plans for each billing cycle based on the number of users in your account.
. |
For example, to be charged for a month of “active use,” a user would need to actively log in to the project and access data and/or features in Dedoose. If you do not log in for two months, and no members of your team logs in, no member of your team will incur a charge.
. |
As always, you can contact one of our insanely friendly Support Experts to answer any questions or concerns you might have. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, we are always happy to help and review activity.
. |
Did you know that you are talking to people (not robots) when you contact our Support Staff? Whether you are emailing us or calling us, you’re in touch with one of our best.

Pricing Options for Institutions – Premier and Enterprise Programs
. |
Recently, we opted to expand our group offerings to include plans for Premier and Enterprise clients.
. |
This is more appropriate for entire departments, Universities, Colleges, Institutions, or Organizations that will require significant billing and account management assistance in addition to multiple subscription plans.
. |
To learn more about this program, you can access additional information here.
. |
For Premier Accounts, Dedoose provides up to 3 hours of custom security audits and reporting, up to 5 hours of expert methods consulting, custom user logging and reporting, designated account manager, and SSO integration.
. |
With respect to some of the fine print details, Premier accounts do require that there be a minimum of 20 users in the plan, which will be charged at a rate of $25 per month. This also assumes the signing of a one-year contract for services with Dedoose.
. |
. |
For Enterprise accounts, these include full wrap-around admin and user support services. In addition, these clients can access a much wider variety of online resources, access to a network of professional academic research consultants, and train-the-trainer programs.
. |
You can catch up on more ins and outs of our Premier and Enterprise Program in our former blog here.
